I've went around Singapore's iconic places to do a lil bit of sketching and watercolour :) This activity was to help me escape from my busy work life and live momentarily in the beautiful sight of these legendary buildings in Singapore! Throughout the process, I learned to discover more about the history of each place, develop new artistic styles and improved my drawing perspectives!

Kallang Waters: A dragon boat passed by.

Chinatown: I sat at one of the drink stalls and sketched those who stopped by the drink stall as well. Talked to a few friendly aunties and uncles who watched me sketched :)

Commonwealth Crescent Market: I decided to paint this HDB block because of the lonely tree that sits in front of it. It blocks the view of those inside, giving them privacy and living a peaceful HDB life.

Singapore River: A creative rendition of passerbys into a single illustration. It was a fun sketch as I had to outline their figures quickly before they disappeared from my sight.

Singapore River: Chicken and beer.

Armenian Street: Coll street filled with many talented people. While it rained, we all found shelter under one of the tents. It was a heavy pour, yet, it appeared like drizzles in my mind and hence this sketch.
