I am proud to say that I have completed the six-week course by Spark AR to learn the basics of creating Augmented Reality (AR) filters. Besides taking away the cool tricks and tips from the programme, I've made friends with so many passionate individuals who are bold and determined to create the best filters in the world!
Certificate of Completion:

Before I proceed to showcase my products, I would want to take this opportunity to thank all the experts and friends I've made in Spark AR Community for making this possible for me! It's a small step but it means alot to me and I can't wait to do more projects like these!
Dino Face Filter:
Thoughts
This Dino filter was inspired by my friend who keeps saying "Rawrr" to me. To thank my friend's constant care and love for me, I wanted to dedicate this filter to him. Combined with some photoshop skills, I tried to integrate light make up and the Dino stickers to complete the final look! To increase the face detection accuracy, I toggled with the face tracker settings. I'm pretty proud of the final product!
FaultySnowFlakes (World Particle Effect):
Thoughts
This snowflakes filter was inspired by my love for snows! Being in Singapore where there is only one season, I wanted to create a different environment that allows my users to destress from their busy work life and enjoy being immersed in snow fall! I called this the faulty snowflakes because they don't fall down at a consistent pace and will randomly appear. Using this filter makes me laugh because of the clumsy elements, but I hope it brings smiles to my users too!
Statistics and Performance of my filters:

Thoughts
Honestly, I was very amazed by the number of users for my filters because I did very little publicity but it managed to hit thousands of impression! Even though these numbers may not appear impressive to most people, to me, it definitely gives me more confidence to build AR filters knowing that there is so much support from the community.
My AR filter journey doesn't stop here. I hope to expand my skills by venturing more into Spark AR, Unity and ARkit! I'm already excited just by thinking about all the possible projects I could do. I would really want to incorporate Computer Vision and Machine Learning into my next project to make interactive AR!
