Internship at Infinion Architects (Jan 2018)

Company:

INFINION ARCHITECTS is an architectural, planning, interior design and landscaping firm. The firm provides a full range of professional services and comprehensive consultancy in the building industry.

Responsibilities:

I worked as an intern for the company for a month. Besides that, I was tasked to use AutoCAD to design Penang International Airport's temporary Carpark as well as Permatang Mall, followed up with meetings and site analysis. I also wrote contract documents for projects by the company. Lastly, I was assigned to make amendments on existing architectural drawings based on as-built plan, followed up with site investigations.

Achievements:

This internship allowed me to experience directly the lifestyle of architects. I was given real responsibilities to design projects that will be carried out in the future. With the company's guidance, I was able to quickly pick up the basic skills of using AutoCad and SketchUp.
